Kurt Jackson, a famous British artist known for his environmentally focused artworks inspired by the landscape of Cornwall, has a large gallery within close proximity to the property. The Dog & Rabbit Cafe is right on your doorstep serving fabulous quality coffee and breakfast including plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.
· St Just is located in the far West of Cornwall and is in one of the most ancient mining districts in Cornwall, Poldark country. On your doorstep and within easy walking distance are the stunning coastal paths leading to Lands End or Cape Cornwall. Or aim inland to find the ancient stones of West Penwith including the Tregaseal Stone Circle to Men a Tol. Right opposite the property is the very green “Plen”, one of the few surviving examples of a medieval open air theatre in Cornwall. It is a circular outdoor space used for music, plays and other public events and a perfect place to sip a sun-downer after a days activities.
From St Just you can easily drive or catch an open top bus to St Ives, Penzance or Lands End each with golden sandy beaches, historic monuments or restaurants. The world famous Minack Theatre, set in the stunning beach village of Porthcurno, is a wonderful place to spend an evening.

One Bank Square, a delightful and newly converted holiday let studio located in the vibrant market town of St. Just, West Penwith, Cornwall. Nestled amidst the captivating beauty of the Cornish Poldark landscape, this intimate retreat is the perfect haven for a magical getaway.
One Bank Square is designed to accommodate two people, offering a cosy and inviting atmosphere throughout. As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a tastefully decorated living and dining space that exudes warmth and comfort.
At the front of the property there is a large comfortable sofa and two further armchairs, a large side board contains all the dining essentials and a flat screen TV with access to a number of freeview channels; as well as a small dining table and two chairs. From rustling up a full breakfast to give you energy for the day to an evening meal after the days adventures the kitchenette is a small but well configured space; there is a microwave / oven, a two-ring electric hob, ceramic sink, kettle and toaster.
At the back of the room is a sliding wooden door taking you through to a small hallway and the bedroom, with a double bed and small cupboard for hanging clothes. Off the hallway is a bathroom with full-sized shower enclosure, basin, a selection of high-quality toiletries and WC.
There is no allocated Parking for this property, but there is a large public car park a short walk away; there are 6 short stay spaces opposite the property, where you can park to unload and also park overnight.
One Bank Square is a dog friendly property, there is an additional fee per dog. We would recommend one small dog as there is no garden. There are however many footpaths leading from the town of St Just up onto the moors or down to the costal path with Cape Cornwall within very easy walking distance of One Bank Square. The coastline around the town is an area of outstanding natural beauty and designated as an Unesco World Heritage Site.
